Talk about high turnover

It's the Baha'i World Centre way. Every month there are people arriving and others departing, some who have been here for 12, 18, 30 months, or even longer.

Just days after my orientation week ended (the first picture is my orientation group), Corrine, Katherine and I had a going away party at our flat (second picture; mostly neighbors in the Blum) for three of the coolest Brazilians I've ever met and unfortunately had only a few weeks to get to know.
We'll miss you Thomas, Ivan and Milena. Thomas, I'm sorry I beat you at Hokm the first night I was here!

Yo Fernandez,

Looks like you are having the time of your life! Sorry for not posting earlier than this. We were all hanging out the other night and we all agreed that it wasn't the same without you. It happened again during soccer yesterday. I guess I'll see you in November in the Holy Land. We'll have to play some "hope" when I'm there. Thank you so much for your prayers.

Gigi, I was just thinking about you today and looked you up on Facebook to find out, to my utter amazement, that you are no longer in San Diego living a journalist's life, but are in fact in Israel! I can't believe it! You are the very definition of a nomad. Anyway, I hope you are loving every minute of your experience at the Baha'i center and that everything works out well for you. I still miss hanging out with you in San Francisco :-(

Hope you have a great day,
~Katie
